How much does NSFAS give UNISA students per month?

Below is a breakdown of the amount NSFAS funds UNISA students per month as allowance.

  • Learning Material: R600 per module (First five modules)
  • Living Allowance: Only applicable to students that registered for ten modules or more.
  • Tuition and registration fee.

NOTE: UNISA students only get allowances from NSFAS for living allowance and learning materials. Also, there is R290 allowance per month from February to November, which is used for incidental expenses.
