JAMB UTME 2023 Results Finally Out: Check Your Scores Now
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The Computer Based Test (CBT) was conducted between Tuesday, April 25 and Monday, May 1, and included over 1.5 million candidates who registered to sit in 708 CBT centres across 105 towns.
However, the results excluded candidates who were rescheduled to take their examination on Saturday, May 6, as well as those who were absent.
The release of the results was delayed to ensure that all necessary screening was concluded, including the mean and standard deviation analysis, before releasing the results. As candidates check their results, those who sat the examination but had challenges without being aware of such, would not see their results but would instead see their notification for a rescheduled examination.
To check their results, candidates can send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used for registration. The response would indicate the status of the candidates, including those who were absent, rescheduled, or under investigation. JAMB has also rescheduled tests for some candidates who encountered technical challenges, and they are now to take their tests on May 6.
